Nestled in a little village in Burgundy, France, we took on the challenge of transforming a dated 60's kitchen on a very limited budget. Despite the well-crafted cabinets, the space felt heavy and overwhelmingly brown. However, we were very inspired by the funky ochre sink, which became the focal point of our redesign. As for the overall color palette, we drew inspiration from our client's cherished dark blue and white mug, which paired beautifully with the ochre sink and original tomette tiles floors. The result is a bright and modern space with thoughtful homage to the home's funky original features.
